Any of ya'll on here ever trap right on the forestry roads in the national forests?? Maybe on drags to get them outta sight? And nay luck at it?

No, but i have sure seen spots where I wanted to. I will trap the sides of the road and use drags, just not on the road proper.

If a logging road is blocked to keep the blasted 4-wheelers out, I will set the roads. Riders prefer the forest roads to the ATV trail complex, so it is a real problem in my area.

Sure have, don't pass the logging roads either. What national forest you thinking about, I spend alittle of each season in st. Francis and over near white rock.

white rock eastern end. MY buddy and I planning a 10 day trip next year out there. I have land out there that I bear hunt on every year but have never trapped the big woods.

I road trap sometimes you might lose a trap but after deer season not many people out.
