Dates have been set.  The event will be in ARKADELPHIA at the Fair Grounds oct 10th thru 12th

While this is a NTA SE Regional, we have 4 other states that will help us put this on...Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas and Oklahoma.

Should be a good time for all.

If you want to volunteer please contact Dub Shankle or Tim Ross.

Stay tuned for info becomes available.

well a big change has happen on the convention.
oct 2-5
clark county fairgrounds
Arkadelphia

after trying to get things squared away in hope with no luck, we were not allowed to close any streets into the area down and we couldn't reserve the rv spots, plus to many other problems surfaced. so we have found a great venue for the convention with plent of space.

I had a meeting with them today and went over the setup, this is going to be awesome.
the main dealers building has 60 tables and 40 for the second building a land demo area and the county is going to help me put a water demo area in the back.
there are no rv hookups right now but we should be able to set rv's and campers up with power if needed.

Just a curious question...

Which state is the primary host for this 2014 NTA SE Regional?

If memory serves me right, Mississippi.

Also, I think they get half the gate, don't they?

Mississippi is the host, with a joint effort from Arkansas, texas, lousiana, and Oklahoma
I have been contacted by colorada, Georgia, Arizona and new mexico wanting to help if they can.
there's a lots of people working on this venture.
including several districts in Arkansas.

you might want to check and see how much the N.T.A. has in the budget for the demo area , and see if they are going to get someone to sponsor the area . I think N.A.F.A. did at Lima and that help pay for the supplies.

That's pretty awesome. Just an idea though, could we have a section with the absolute worst conditions aside from the perfect landscaping. I mean rocks, clay, roots. Get someone to do a demo in that and I think you'd draw more crowd than standing space would allow.

Good idea!  We could even get 3 or four people holding a water hose and simulate making a set in the pouring rain.   Grin

lets remember lima was a national and this is a sectional.
I have the designs of what the tractor driver is going to dig.
20' long crooked and about 12 feet wide.
