Average coon and a large possum.... And a small dog.... Cute little dog actually if I had some how to carry it I would have brought it home with me.... It'd make a perfect squirrel dog... He was scared to death let me take the trap off him with out him biting me.... Heck I petting him while I was takin the trap off didnt even have to use the catch pole......

1 male grey, dead.  Maybe I'll catch his mate or the coyote that killed him tonight!

Well let's just say I'm glad that none of my students heard the conversation tag followed. Im beginning to think a trapping partner would be a good idea. I hadn't staked the 330 yet so at least I could move.  The 1.5 was staked in sloppy gumbo, getting that off was a chore.

It does get pressure, just a little later. Most of the trappers around here wait until December.Yesterday my son and I set 6 traps, 3 a piece. He's up from Louisiana and hasn't trapped since he moved south a few years back.Anyway we made five pocket sets and one blind. He skunked me.2 to zilch. Doh!
